Tree planting at Patteson Lodge
On Tuesday 1st November, The Friends of Patteson Lodge held their annual Afternoon Tea party.
They served a delicious selection of sandwiches, followed by Ann Holland’s famous scones and a wonderful selection of home made cakes.
Around 50 people enjoyed the tea party.
Following the down pour of rain, thunder and lightening, we all went outside to plant the two commentative trees.
The Friends purchased a wonderful red Acer to celebrate 40 years of Patteson Lodge. This was planted beside the driveway.
Girlguiding Norfolk purchased an evergreen Oak to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum jubilee and in loving memory of our Patron Queen Elizabeth II. This tree was planted between Patteson Lodge and The ARC, towards the roadside.
Many thanks to Soane Signs for the donation of the signs – much appreciated.
