ARCHIVE RESOURCE CENTRE HOUSEKEEPER
Job description
Role Purpose |
To carry out all cleaning tasks as required to support Archive Resource Centre. To work closely with the centre manager to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are met and maintained at all times. |
Key Accountabilities and Deliverables |
Housekeeping Provision |
· Clean all areas of the Archive Resource Centre.
· Carry out all cleaning tasks for the office, including appropriate cleaning of IT and office equipment. · Keep confidential all matters relating to Girlguiding Norfolk, in accordance with current legislation, including storage and release of data and images. · Carry out regular deep cleaning, moving furniture to access areas beneath and behind them. · Clean interior windows of Archives Resource Centre regularly and as required. · Carry out or assist with small maintenance jobs as required. · Carry out any other duties which may reasonably be required to ensure that the Archive Resource Centre functions efficiently and effectively. · Cleaning of Patteson Lodge and campsite (holiday cover only, training will be given)

Health & Safety |
· To ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly observed, including cleaning schedules, documentation and wearing appropriate PPE.
· Implement the Archive Resource Centre and Girlguiding Norfolk health and safety policy and follow best practices in health and safety. · To ensure all necessary health & safety requirements are met with regard to COSHH, Manual Handling and other regulatory requirements (training will be given). · To ensure all housekeeping equipment is maintained in accordance with regulations and best practice. · Maintain adequate stock control of cleaning materials.

Relationships |
· Establish close and constructive working relationships with colleagues within the Archive Resource Centre team and across the Patteson Lodge staff team.
· Ensure tactful, diplomatic, positive, and constructive engagement with guests, contractors and suppliers. · Assist other housekeeping staff members across Patteson Lodge Estate. · Build and maintain good working relationships with all colleagues and volunteers across Girlguiding Norfolk. · Ensure that you promote a positive professional image at all times.

Volunteers | Work with key volunteers as appropriate to deliver the aims and objectives of the ARC. |
Working Hours | 2 hours every fortnight, day/time day to be discussed with centre manager – can be flexible |

Salary | Starting salary £11.75 per hour |

We expect the job holder will work flexibly, responding to organisational needs and changes as they occur. You will also contribute to the wider corporate and organisational needs of Girlguiding Norfolk.
