Electricity Cables

The first phase to re-locate the overhead electricity cables has taken place. A trench was excavated starting along the side of Oneida meadows coming onto Patteson Lodge campsite, along the side of the field and building right up to the roadside. Cable ducting was installed and the trench was re-instated so no open trenches were left overnight. The new cable has been laid. The underground cables have now been connected and the overhead lines are now disconnected. January 2009 the overheads lines will be taken down. This project was funded by EDF (approx £20,000).
